Andy [Little] and I took our bicycles down to Lake Street to watch the Art Car Parade. First we discovered that they started before they were supposed to and missed the one things I wanted to see (Savage Aural Hotbed banging away atop the roof of a van). We stood and watched an array of mostly disappointing vehicles meander by. Ultimately, it just strengthed my resolve to finish my Amazing Traveling Boudoir. And, hopefully, I'll be able to float it down Lake Street next year and be the envy of everyone (except the guy on the cool remote control couch).
