11/17/2003 9:45 PMThe third wall of the kichen is the one with all the cabinets on it. My intention was to remove all of the doors and drawers, paint the backing wood red to match the other three walls, replace the hinges (which have all been painted white) and repaint the door & drawers white.
I have painted the backing woodwork red, and it looks fine. But after sanding some of the drawer faces, I'm considering restoring the wood there instead of slathering it in white latex. I think that would look nicer. Especially if I stained them a dark color to match the other dark wood in my house. And dark wood against a red background looks cool.
