In one of my bands we had a little problem during band rehearsals: we would waste time trying to decide "what to do next". We would stare at a list of all the songs we had written and couldn't decide what next to practice or to work on. So I wrote this little windows app that will automatically select a song, at random, from a predefined list.

Since we started using The Foreman our practices have become a great deal more efficient. We spend more time practicing and less time grazing. Additionally, we've added entries to the song list like, "make something up in Bb" and the handles of some new, rough, in-progress songs.

Of course, this is only useful if you have a computer running in your practice space but, really, in this day & age who doesn't?

Requires the Microsoft .NET Framework (v1.1)
