Casio PT-10 Keyboard
I've owned this toy for nearly twenty years and was hesitant to break it open and start mucking about, but sciene can not be held back for mere nostalgic reasons.

The only mod at the moment is a body-contact that, when touched firmly, causes the tone to drop a fifth.  Lighter touches cause partial pitch drops, but the action on that control is pretty poor.  One of the neat things that can be done with it is to either record a short passage (it was a primative record mode) or just play the demo, and then modify the output with the pitch bend contact.

The first time I used this (Sensor RE:Engine 11.21.03) the batteries were near death.  It would at full capacity for a minute or two, then it would slowly die over the course of a few more minutes until it stopped producing any sound at all.  I hope to reproduce that "dying" effect; perhaps by wiring a pot in series with the batteries (to thus reduce output voltage).  I'm not convinced this will do what I want, however.  We'll see...
