Annoying Pink Gun

As you may recall, this toy gun was left behind after my 'Alloween X-travanGANZA (2003) and suffered a cruel fate. It had started making it's "firing" noise repeatedly and none could get it to stop. I, of course, saw this not as a curse, but as a blessing!

I was in the process of removing the switch, replacing the little speaker with an 1/8" jack and putting a pot in place of a resistor (which slightly modified the "tempo" of the beat) when, suddenly, it stopped working. :( Presumably the IC got fried. This one is probably destined for the trash.

Current status: non-functional, possibly ruined
Audio not coming.
