Trying to build a 10A H-Bridge circuit
Two weeks ago I didn't even know what an H-Bridge circuit was. After spending what seemed like fifteen hours of grilling the internet looking for information on transistors and pulse width (PWM) motor control I stumbled across the definition and explanation of the H-Bridge circuit. I immediately realized that this was what I needed and then spent another score of hours trying to learn how to build one for my specific needs.

After ordering a handful of transistors (and a bushel of resistors) I set out to try to wire up something that would control one of my motors. I spent a couple of days turning transistors and resistors into smoking refuse, scribbling down several little pages of notes and browsing and browsing the internet trying to learn more about H-Bridge design. I think I have finally stumbled onto a workable solution (thank's to Chris McManuis's excellent webpage) but I have yet to prototype it. If it works, I'll make another entry with some specs and schematics.

Wish me luck!
