| | | Motorized Armchair | | | | Trying to build a 10A H-Bridge circuit. | A while back my brother was telling me about a colleague of his who had taken a motorized wheelchair, removed the chair and wheel and mounted an armchair on it. I was immediately reminded of an old, ugly and unwanted armchair that I've been shifting around my house for years and that it would be fun and relatively straightfoward to mount a pair of motors and batteries inside it and zip myself around in comfort.

Milestone'd 5/21/2006 8:10 PM
I acquired some larger power transistors and have built a fully functional hbridge with them.

Microcontrolled 4/24/2006 9:15 PM I was able to control my motor, albeit in a very primative way, with a PIC microcontroller.

Successful H-Bridge 4/21/2006 11:25 AM
Last night I successfully breadboarded half of an H-Bridge and, this morning, I successfully built an entire H-Bridge (replete with 10k pull-up resistors and very low current logic pins (~3.4ma)).

Smokin! 4/20/2006 10:55 AM
My first draft of one complete H-Bridge circuit ends with a little bit of [bad] smoke.

Motor Control Circuit 4/19/2006 7:10 PM
My current plan
is to custom build a pair of microcontroller controlled H-Bridge motor control circuits.
