New Shoes I haven't worn "shoes" in years and years - I've always just alternated between boots and sandals. But I've finally decided that I needed something in-between. After getting frustrated with REI's selection I went to Fast & Furless and decided on something called "Lazer-K" by Earth. (For some reason, their website refers to it as the "Logan-K" style - I wonder why the change? I'd've been more likely to buy something called "Logan-K" than "Lazer-K" if given the choice.) Anywho. I wore them all day and have not yet experienced any discomfort (except! there is an edge on the inside of the left shoe just above the heel that is irritating when I'm driving - walking or sitting it exhibits no trouble).
