| | Party! 2/17/2007 7:30 PM | | Testing the patterns before the crowd arrives | The party officially started at 9p and, I understand, didn't stop until 11a the next day (personally, I only lasted until 4:30a; I'm older than I used to be). My light array was easily the brightest thing in the space. When it reached the part of its program where most of the lights were on simultaneously it completely obfuscated the blacklight floods and lasers we had running. Consequently, we shut | | Pattern testing with the house lights off | it off for a couple hours and then, when I turned it back on later, I set it to one of the test patterns (so that, at most, only 100 watts of light were being kicked out).
A few people said they liked it; no one actively disliked it. I was pleased with its performance. It required no maintenance then entire time and there were no failures or shorts. Not even a burnt out bulb. Stumazing!
