The Armchair

The armchair is brown, old,
doesn't recline, doesn't have a footrest and the casters don't really
stay in the bottom. I don't have a television that I would sit in
front, it's uncomfortable to read in, takes up too much space to put in
the living room or den and still smells a little bit of tobacco smoke.
It is, however, reasonably well constructed, is surpsisingly
light-weight and has a large cavity in the bottom into which I should
have little trouble installing the chassis.
The
chassis will likely be a welded box steel chassis onto which the two
motors will be bolted and will incorporate mounts for the batteries and
control circuitry. I'll design it to recess into the bottom of the
chair and mount to the wooden supports therein.
