VegGuide Map
Two of my favorite websites are vegguide.org and maps.google.com. So it only made sense to combine them.

This is my prototype VegGuide Maps application. (Note: new url as of 07Mar27.)

Update 08Jan9:
I tweaked it a bit, compensated for VegGuide's new RSS format, added some things, tightened up some other things. I think this is a great tool when traveling. I should probably tell someone about it.

I can't get the maps...vegan-friendly w/i 5 miles = 7 but w/i 10 = 85. But no map...maybe because I'm not currently using FireFox...?

Could be. I haven't tested it in any other browser. The simplest fix is for you (third person plural) to upgrade to Firefox 2!

You are beginning to sound like a broken record. Do you have stock in that company?

In a sense: my profession puts me in direct and constant contact with client browsers. A portion of my time is spent trying to work around bugs and standards-deviations present in the most popular web browsers. Furthermore, I waste time repairing damage caused by malware that takes advantage of the security failings of IE. Shifting the populace off of poor browsers makes my life easier.
